This time is a very important and last minute gift that I need help with.​So, through a bunch of other things that I've had going on in my life, I lost track of time and am purchasing a gift for my "step-daughter" (not really, but that's the closest way I can describe my relationship with her). This gift would be from my significant other mostly, but he's working and doesn't have the amount of time I have to put effort into it that I do at the moment. He hasn't seen her very much over the past few years, and really for a lot of his life, even though he really would love to have a better relationship with her. She lives kind of far away and I need to have it in the mail by tomorrow if I want it to make it there by the 29th.​I don't know a whole lot about her and have only talked to her in person on one occasion. My significant other doesn't have much more knowledge because he's not very talkative. I know that she is artistic and likes to draw and write. She likes sketch books and nice, fine point pens. She has a dog that she adores. She is turning 24 and is a very mature, independent young woman who lives on her own. She isn't very girly and she works a lot (like, three jobs all together). She doesn't wear jewelry or makeup. She likes to go out to eat and to bars, but I don't know how often.​Right now, I'm thinking we will get her a polaroid type camera and film, some nice pens (if you have recommendations that I can get at a reasonable price at a Walmart or Staples, I'd appreciate it) a journal/sketch pad type notebook, some treats for her dog, and a gift card for a restaurant.​If you have any more/better/specific recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it! He would love to give her as much as possible and knows that nothing makes up for lost time but due to our schedules and the distance, we are limited. Lol.He’s 21, and since he doesn’t have a ton of hobbies, he’s difficult to get gifts for. He’s into video games, but doesn’t play them too often. He’s a dog lover- especially his two black labs, which are adorable. We both love food and trying new foods together. But making food for him is one of my go-to gifts, so I’d rather not do that. I thought planning an activity together would be a good gift, but he spends lots of time studying, so I’m not sure if I should plan on that when I don’t know how much work he’ll have during that time. He’s also not very materialistic, and I don’t think buying something costly would really make him happy... he’d probably get mad at me for spending so much lol. I’m more looking to get him something meaningful/sentimental. Hi, I am looking to create (or have someone create and I buy) some kind of a design where my husband and I can keep track of who wins board games. Similar to those push pin maps or anything made of wood, but we want to be able to change things out as we add new games to the table. We also play with different groups of friends so we were hoping to somehow have four different sections. I'm not sure if this made any sense, but I'm not having much luck finding anything online and my husband is not appreciating my uncreative ideas.
