On Feb 29, I celebrated 8 years with my girl friend/best friend. We met in high school and it all started from sharing burgers to music, friendship to this wonderful relationship! And I can’t comprehend how lucky we have been, even through hell of personal problems as well long distance. Even though we actually changed cities only about two years back, we were suffering distance even living in the same city (orthodox + emotionally abusive families and what not). I don't know if this is the right sub for this, but I have a friend that is down on his luck and is struggling to find a balance between college/work and having money for food/rent, so I kinda wanted to send him a care package of dry/canned food and snacks to help him out.Thing is, he doesn't like the feeling of owing people anything regardless of it being a gift or not, so he always tries to pay people back.
