First of all sorry for any grammatical or language errors☺️ Hi! I’m lost, I don’t know what to give him for his birthday, I still have 5 weeks to look it up. We are 3,5 years together, I have done him a lot of diy gifts (and would still love to do them, but have no new ideas). So we are currently in Europe studying, and our families and homes are 10000 km away. He played the piano surprisingly good, I loved hearing him, specially the song he componed. My first idea was to buy him a piano keyboard but I don’t really know about music instruments. So I searched for good keyboards but I was surprised by the high prices ( casio privia x150/x160, yamaha p35/p45 ). And searched for them in 2nd hand shops but didn’t find something convincing. Do you know any budget piano keyboards that are worth their prices? (I would’t like to give him something that doesn’t work 3 months later.) He loves metal, epic, classical and instrumental music. He also likes the lord of the rings, harry potter, game of thrones. He plays a lot of videogames (his favorite is ‘the witcher’ ). I forgot!!! He is really interestend in space, stars and universe currently He draws really good and already has colouring and drawing equipment. I would really appreciate any suggestion, diy’s, piano or music related, practical gifts... Luckily, I’m pretty talented artistically so I decided to sew them a nice bag with fabric that I dyed using a shibori technique and patched together myself. I turned out really nice. I also painted a picture of a volcano we spent some time at in Costa Rica to include with the bag. To top it off, I’m adding a nice bottle of wine I know they like.Now comes the hardest part of the whole gift - THE CARD!! How do I begin? I want to sound sincere but not too mushy and sappy. Hi! My sister is having a pretty rough time during the health crisis. Today is her 18th birthday and she's spending it without any of her friends or her boyfriend. She also found out on Friday that her high school is mandatory pass/fail on her grades from a month ago, and since she's a senior and her graduation ceremony was cancelled and she has no more school, she basically just graduated from high school too.I'm her older sister that's in college already and I feel heartbroken for her since she's not able to really celebrate either of these pretty major milestones in her life and I want to get her something/a couple things/some kind of care package. She's really depressed that she's stuck in quarantine and I want to help her feel like these events are meaningful and special and to try and make them a little better.She's starting her freshman year at a big state school in September. She's been a lifeguard for the last 3 years and loves warm weather and being at the pool or beach. She has a major sweet tooth. She has a car that she loves a lot but she's not able to bring that to campus next year. She likes little pieces of jewelry but sometimes has difficulty keeping track of them. She's a somewhat stereotypical "zoomer" for lack of a nicer way to put it, I know she has very similar interests to the kids her own age. (I'd try to explain if I could, I'm only a couple years older than her though and I don't understand most of what they talk about lol)Any guidance as to what to get her would be great. I'm willing to try and make something (I can crochet at an intermediate level) or spend a couple hundred $ since it's for such special milestones for her. I'm her only older sister and she looks up to me a little so I want to make her happy even though everything kinda sucks right now.
