I hope I don’t sound entitled honestly I have been blessed with a great family and I have had my struggles in life (undiagnosed bipolar till the age of 22... suicide and self harm) but my family is really amazing... anyways so even though I was having a hard time I was accepted into one of the top universities in my country and I got a scholarship (the tuition for the five years cost around 275,000) so my older brother was accepted in the same university but dropped out after two years going to another university with less qualifications and a high tuition when he graduated my parents gave him a graduation gift (30,000) and a year later i graduated but I was supposed to graduate a semester early so I took a minor planning to graduate with my friends (my university accepts 3,000 students only 700 or so graduate each year the rest either dropped out, expelled for low grades or are graduating late) I’m just saying that to make it clear that my university is really tough... anyways when I graduated I got the same amount as my brother and I don’t mind it but my friend insists that it’s not fair because first even though I was struggling with mental illness I got a gpa that would allow me to get my master’s degree from this elite university not to mention a minor and graduating on time and the second reason is that I got a scholarship saving a lot of money... is what she is saying make sense?
