I've been with my bf for a little over a year and his birthday is coming soon. As a person who likes giving useful gifts that people actually need, instead of just guessing, I decided to ask him what he wants.Ir response he said: "uhh... I dunno. I'd like to have some money. that way I'll just buy myself a gift"He didn't even ask for that much money. 4 times less than what he spent on my birthday gift. I really don't mind spending a lot of money on him but from time to time he expresses some discomfort if I pay for dinner or stuff like that. He's just that kind of person.Now I'm in this situation. I want to give much more to the person I love, but I also want to give him what he wants (money).another option is to just give him more money, but I don't want to make him feel uncomfortable by giving what would be considered "too much" for him.What would be the right thing to do in this situation?
