So a while ago I asked for advice on this sub: my post and you were quite helpful. In the end, however, I chose to go for the safer approach, simply because we haven't been dating that long and I don't want to scare her. So I am still going with the Sketchbook (+ prolly some chocolate) along with This drawing inside it. I feel like it's not too cheesy as it's something simple and something she enjoys + a little personal touch with my drawing inside. It's not the best as I am not as good as her when it comes to this type of drawings, but she loves these so I gave it a shot myself. What do you think? Also, should I just leave it as it is (the Sketchbook and this drawing on the first page), or should I write something like "dear gf bla bla happy birthday.."?
