My wife is super frugal - gets mad (not legitimately mad, but you understand) if I spend much money even on gifts for her. Thing is, she's amazing and I want to show her my appreciation. I'm willing to make something, but I want it to be nice quality - not like the gifts four-year-olds give to their moms.About me (in terms of making things): somewhat handy, but not excessively - somewhere between basic and intermediate skills - probably closer to intermediate. Pretty complete set of hand tools plus electric drill, R-O sander, circular saw. I like to do projects which is why I'd love to try to make soemthing.About her: Fitness (running) guru; dedicated teacher; highly devoted mom; extremely social; needs to stay busy; recently published children's book author; keeps the family afloat (cruising, really); somehow able to do it all.Any ideas you can think of would be helpful and appreciated.
