For a couple years I've been using a handy Chrome extension that has probably helped me save hundreds of dollars when shopping online.Obviously with the holidays coming around, more people will be going online to buy gifts so I thought I'd share this with you all in case you didn't know about it. I am not affiliated in any way with this plugin nor is it an affiliate link. The plugin: The extension I use is called Honey and is for the Chrome web browser (not sure if it is on Firefox). It can be found here and it is free to use. What it does: When you add items to your cart (in Amazon for example) Honey will drop a little notification box down showing active coupons and deals it has found online. You can manually sort through them yourself, or just press the big button under the coupons to auto-populate each one in your checkout page. This will run through everything that is available and apply the one that saves you the most money.I've found it best to keep an eye on them as they run through, as sometimes it misses the biggest money-savers (normally it is pretty on point though). That's all there is to it! Hope it helps some of you save this season :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7gvanl/easy_way_to_save_money_while_christmas_shopping/?utm_source=ifttt
