#gifts - #For my mentor - books, culture, language

Hi. I hope this is the correct subreddit for this.A quick TL;DR for the situation:Currently doing a traineeship, have an awesome mentor/co-worker that I get along with great both in terms of work but also socially and personally. Want to buy him a gift for Christmas that reflects his interest. My mentorIs highly educated, lively, hard-working, and funny. He is interested in cultures (he married abroad, lived in several countries), works in an international politics related field, and speaks 7 languages. I know he is well-read, so buying some of the classics I think is out of the question. My idea was to get him an interesting book that deals with language in some way or another. English books are fine, as well as Hungarian, Norwegian, Russian, French, Spanish, and Croatian. I think English would be easier to obtain though.I am imagining something that is interesting to someone who loves languages, but not bordering on the academic side of things.Any suggestion would be awesome - be that a book or something else. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7jrr8h/for_my_mentor_books_culture_language/?utm_source=ifttt
