Posting this in a couple subreddits just to get ideas.I know this is a question asked by everyone during the holidays but I am literally at a standstill when it comes to gift ideas for my dad.He is almost 60 and doesn't really have any hobbies. He works at a grocery store and is a bit of an introvert, so doesn't really have friends he goes out to hang out with. He does do a bit of background acting on the side on various tv shows and the occasional small movie, so he has fun doing that and has a few acquaintances from doing so. He enjoys learning technology, but over the past few years we've gotten him everything we could think of (laptop, tablet, modern crosby vinyl player, google home, roomba, netflix account). He is religious, but doesn't read so the devotional/inspiration books we've gotten him in the past just kind of sit. He listens to the radio in the car, but won't go out of his way to pop in a particular CD or anything. He doesn't drink alcohol and he is only really into sports when its a social event or he is invited by someone else. He doesn't care about cars, tools, cooking/grilling, fights, or the outdoors, isn't into fashion (no watches, cufflinks), literally any "man" thing. He very much seems to be content with just helping my mom whenever needed and taking care of their cats. This year, his only gift request is a sonic toothbrush so he'll get that and we always get him cologne. Every year he'll also get a box with new underwear/undershirts/socks, and we'll probably find him a new sweater or something. I just want him to have something unique or interesting to open this year. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7hruzq/gift_ideas_for_dad/?utm_source=ifttt
