So I have started to get to know my co-workers more lately, after so much time being alone. And in this short time so far, I have never felt happier. So I want to get them some gifts for Christmas. Now I already have some gifts choosen, and even gave one early. They were rather small gifts. The person I already gave the gift too was really grateful and liked it. I put much thought into these. Now I am considering on giving something that costs more to a single co-worker in particular. One reason is that this co-worker seems very complex. Another reason is that I think the co-worker may look really nice with it.But here is the thing. I haven't known the person that long. Plus, the co-worker is friends with the others. I am afraid that they might compare gifts based on price. They seem very chill in general. But it has only been a couple of months. So would it be awkward to get someone something pricey on this scenario? I do not want to ruin these new friendships I have made. But I also want to show them that I am deeply grateful that they made me, an outcast, a friend. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7jo1s0/would_giving_a_pricey_gift_be_awkward_for_work/?utm_source=ifttt
