I have this group of friends* that get together periodically throughout the year to hang and talk about our lives. We've all known each other for more than a decade, mostly through our husbands who have all worked together at one time or another. All of us have kids except one and all of us are in our late 30s/early 40s. We don't see each other nearly as much as we once did and, frankly, I'm not thrilled about exchanging gifts, but that's a different story. (TL;DR: I'm 40, I have two kids, and I don't need ANY MORE STUFF. I would have been fine with pooling our money and buying something for charity for the holidays.)We usually get together before Christmas, but schedules and sickness didn't permit that last month. Now, I know I have to get gifts for these ladies because I discovered that at least two had already bought gifts for everyone (rather than pooling money for charity)! Short profiles:Married, two kids (8 and 10), SAHM, graphic artist & crafter Married, two kids (6 and 10), artist (as in has her own studio & mostly paints), also runs an artists' supply website Married, two kids (2 and 6), runs a large public library, loves to read, etc. Married, no kids, two cats & a dog, loves pink, girly, and nerd culture. Can you all help me out with gift suggestions? I am tapped out. We all have so much already! I'm also a practical person and I don't like giving out tchotchky gifts. (Also Amazon wish lists gave me no help.) I would love to give them something useful, but budget-friendly (under $15 per is preferable; under $10 is even better). Thanks! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/7o6qfh/need_gift_help/?utm_source=ifttt
