My mums big 50 is coming up and obviously I'd like to put a bit more effort into getting her something nice/memorable. I'm still a student but from my part-time job I've saved up enough to spend £1000 ($1400) (up to £2000 if there's something really worth it).I was thinking of getting her a Rolex (£1500+) but was wondering if you have any nice suggestions for items/experiences that she'd be able to keep for the rest of her life? I've thought about buying her a holiday or something but due to her job I'd need to go through it with her which would ruin any sort of surprise. Furthermore, I'd like to get her some other things, ideas I've gathered include: A professional massage/spa day Spa membership card Hot air balloon trip Super comfy PJs Family photo albumAlso thinking of foodie/fitness presentsAny suggestions?
