This is kinda hard for me to say, but the case is very canon, as the title suggests, my gf gave as a birthday present some sunglasses, at the moment of receiving the sunglasses, I told her that I liked them, than I needed them, but actually, I really don’t like them and what’s even worst, I already bought sunglasses to myself just two weeks before she did. I went on the internet to see some statements, some people say that you should be pleased with whatever is gifted to you as long as it was gifted with love and consideration, and some others say that is not ok to lie and you should tell your significant other about your true feeling, because even something of this matter is a sort of lying and can bring discomfort in a positive and honest relationship, some others stated that the best about telling how you actually feel is an exercise to train your honesty and well fare as a couple. I wanted to read some other opinions. Personally, I’m having a hard time about the way I lied to her telling that I liked it (even when I think the sunglasses look awful) and also I’m having a hard time telling her the opposite. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/8kroa1/my_gf_gave_me_as_a_present_something_that_i/?utm_source=ifttt
