My (retired) dad's visiting me in Europe and both his birthday and Father's Day is coming up so I want to get a present he would really enjoy. He's always been a huge geek and something of an amateur engineer, and I think he would enjoy something like a Circuit Scribe kit (https://www.circuitscribe.com/) which is basically a pen you can draw circuits with, and a couple of modules to play with. But when I go on their website I see it marketed towards kids, or maybe this is even too "basic" for him. I don't know. Is it silly? I have no doubt he'd appreciate it, even if he ends up never using it, but I don't want to get him a gift he'd never use but feel too guilty to throw away.Opinions would be welcome! As he's also an outdoorsy person, I'd also appreciate suggestions towards that end.
