Hi all. Using a throw away account here because my friend is also on Reddit and knows my account. I'm trying to come up with a gift idea for her birthday. She's in her late 20s. She loves to cook and craft, and also has a 2 year old daughter.I kind of wanted to make her something. I'm not crafty in the slightest, but I'd like to try putting my heart into making something for her. I just don't know what to make. She doesn't like clutterful stuff around her house, so it can't just be something decorative. It needs to have a use aside from looking nice. I was thinking something for the kitchen, but I feel like she already has everything cooking related because she's very into that.She mentioned to me recently that she's been wanting a picnic basket but hasn't been able to find one that she likes. I thought about making one, but this seems like a daunting task for someone who's barely ever crafted anything ever. Maybe I could buy a basic basic and decorate it somehow. I'm also scared of getting one she doesn't like, since she passed up quite a few she saw already.Anyways, that's about the extent of my ideas. I thought it couldn't hurt to ask here.
