Hi Reddit,This is a little different than the other posts (I hope), as I am not so much looking for a suggestion for a gift itself, but a way to carry out the gift, as well as whether it is a good idea or not, I'm not too sure.So my girlfriend's birthday is coming up soon (in a few days) and I was going to surprise her with a really nice birthday dinner and decorate the place etc. Then I had this idea that I should video this moment, and all moments similar to this, and for a very big milestone give her a video camera with all the moments on it (I honestly got this idea from Marshall in HIMYM, when he gave Lily a camera with pictures of his junk). Anyways, the issue that I'm having is like how to carry it out effectively, and how to give it to her. Are there any alternatives to video cameras? I was thinking a tablet or something, or one of those digital photo frames that are pretty swizzy.Also, I'm looking for suggestions particularly regarding how to carry out the videoing incognito, as it would kinda ruin the surprise if she realised I was videoing her all the time.What do you all think? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/90wqos/longterm_gift/?utm_source=ifttt
