First time posting here!So a group of us have been trying to think of a unique gift for two close friends who got married recently, they are both practicing physicians in West Virginia. We wanted to give them something unique - a way they can make memories, and have an opportunity to de stress considering their hectic lifestyles - and I was wondering if this subreddit could help us out with ideas!Since they get so little time to plan vacations/getaways themselves, we thought we could do the hard work for them. Some issues:*they don’t have a flexible schedule or long holidays so they would need bookings/reservations that they can redeem/change as required*something that’s not too far from where they are because they probably can’t take more than a long weekend off*most of us don’t live in the US! There’s quite a few of us so we can pool together to get something nice, but ideally they’d be online transactions so that it’s easier for us to make paymentsIn terms of what they like: they are foodies, love nature and hiking trails, and prefer cozy places off the beaten path as compared to a busy metropolis environment.If you guys have any suggestions as to how we can plan a unique trip for them that works around these points, would love to hear your thoughts.
