I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year and a half, and I’m fairly close with his mom. Her birthday is next week, and she’s going to spend it alone because her youngest kid (my boyfriend) just left for college and her husband is away on business. I planned to spend some time with her, definitely bring her flowers and talk to her for a good while, but I feel like I should get her something else.She’s a retired physics teacher, ex-engineer, and has done a ton of traveling around Europe (specifically Belgium).
