My boyfriend and I are having our first anniversary in a few weeks. I'm having trouble deciding what to get him for a few reasons:He grew up struggling to make ends meet. He's very sensible with his money and doesn't like spending it on frivolous things. Once I bought him an expensive cologne and he got kind of mad because he thought it was a waste of money. That being said, I would like to get him something that is useful or practical if possible.He's very picky with clothing. He doesn't like anything with logos or prints and only wears plain solid colored t-shirts, jeans, shoes, etc.He loves solving Rubik's Cubes, but I can't ask him which ones he already has without making it obvious that I want to get him a nice model. He knows I have no interest in them whatsoever.Our biggest shared interest is Pokemon. However, he has stated many times over that he has no time to play Pokemon games because of school so I can't get him a Pokemon game or console. Any other cool Pokemon products that exist?He doesn't like taking pictures so I don't have many photos of us together to make something sentimental like a scrapbook.I would prefer not to get him something too pricey because I don't want him to feel pressured to spend a lot of money on me in the future. My only gift idea for him right now is to get him a Hydroflask because I know he thinks they're nice, but like I said, he is extremely practical. He already has a few other water bottles so I don't know if getting him another one is the best choice.Any help would be appreciated.
