I know it’s cutting it a little close, but my mom’s birthday is 10/16, and I have no clue what to give her.She’s going to be 56, she’s disabled (walks with a cane and has mobility issues due to full spinal fusion, both hips replaced, and currently awaiting a knee replacement), and she lives 1200 miles away from me.She’s also currently fighting to get disability pay from her state, and so is out of work and will soon be moving in with a friend because she can’t afford to live by herself. I mention this because she is currently in the process of getting rid of a TON of material possessions, since she can’t afford to put them in storage and won’t have room at her friend’s apartment.Normally in a situation like this, I would think an experience would be more valuable than something material, but living so far away doesn’t really give me that option. I’m not in a financial position to be able to pay for something big like a storage unit or anything like that, but I don’t think getting her something like jewelry would be appropriate at this point in her life. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, and if you need more information, just ask.Oh, and I also have amazon prime. So bonus points for good prime-eligible suggestions.
