I'm looking for gift ideas for an extended family member. She lives in Canada and she's a quite distant relative but they don't have much family and she has had quite a difficult life. Her mother has Crohn's disease and her father abandoned them and her immediate family disowned her mother because they felt she was making up a lot of her health problems. She has muscular dystrophy and is currently living in a group home because her mother cannot care for her while she's in the hospital. I don't have a good idea of what she enjoys or what she needs so I was hoping someone might have some gift ideas to share. I was thinking pajamas and slippers or something but I don't know what size she wears. Also, does anyone have advice on shipping from the States to Canada. I was thinking of using Amazon (not Amazon.ca) and paying for the shipping.
