I feel like all the gift suggestions for people over 65 are the same-- grab bars for bathrooms, buttons to press if you're dying, etc. My mom is almost 70 and still goes hiking with her friends, volunteers, loves being outside with my dog and will walk him a few miles every day when she's visiting, etc. I'm not sure where people who make presents for senior citizens got the idea that all of them are decrepit and immobile. (knock on wood).I'm looking for some gift ideas (under $40) that would be good for my mom for Christmas. I can't spend too much because i'm already flying her out here and taking her to the Nutcracker and a holiday lights show, but I do want to give her something...Ideas please? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/a5ps15/present_ideas_for_older_parents_that_are_still/?utm_source=ifttt
