’m fairly new to Canada (1.5 years) and there has been reasonable turbulence in my settlement here. The one thing that’s kept me stable is one particular relationship of mine w/ my friend at university. A lot of what she’s said to me in the past year has helped me grow and I’m surprised and elated to be able to enjoy a friendship this genuine and rewarding so soon. She honestly serves as my moral compass and while advising me says some very enlightening things that I often write down because they’re so delightful and insightful. On her 19th birthday next month I want to present to her a list of 19 things she’s said and how and when and where she said them and what they meant to me. She probably doesn’t remember saying them so in addition to writing the exact quotes, I’ll have to provide an explanation which will probably ruin the aesthetic and prevent it from fitting in a single page (if I were to write/ type and frame it). I could consider giving her a soft copy version w/ small hyperlinks to each quote explaining their context but I don’t even have that kind of computer expertise. Does anyone have any recommendations? In addition I will be giving her a material present!TLDR: I’m trying to establish how special a friend is to me and how I want to present to her a list of 19 wonderful things she’s said to me on her 19th but need ideas on how to via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/abvwvi/i_need_suggestions_on_how_to_put_a_gift_together/?utm_source=ifttt
