My brother is getting married and his in-laws are paying for the entire wedding (that costs around $80K). They decided to pay for it since they make up bulk of the wedding invites and because our mother recently was diagnosed with cancer and hospital expenses are not cheap. My parents want to buy them a gift (at the very least) for paying for the wedding, but it is a little difficult to come up with an gift idea. Honestly, the criteria are:-unique-expensive (but under $5K)They are Chinese-Americans and are used to gifts like expensive watches (where Rolex would be considered "cheap"). We thought maybe something like a custom hand-made sword might be nice, where it is unusual and could signify both families coming together. What are some other ideas?? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/apoux6/gift_ideas_for_really_rich_inlaws/?utm_source=ifttt
