My boyfriend's birthday is in May and I'm looking for gift suggestions for him.We have been together for a couple of months now, but have known each other for a long time.He isn't a materialistic person, and what little he wants, he buys himself.He already told me he wants to spend his BD with me so I know I will cook him a nice lunch, bake him a cake, give him a massage and pretty much just make sure he enjoys the day stress free. But I still want to give him something.His hobbies include reading about history, exercising and going to concerts but he has recently graduated with a degree in history and he says he wants a break from all the history books, he already has the ticket for a festival he wants to attend this summer and he doesn't need any extra sports gear.He's also leaving to train to be a Military Officer in September so we won't be seeing each other a lot in the next 2 years. That makes me want to give/make him something that will make him think of me. But neither of us are very romantic. My friends suggested our picture in a frame, which is an absolutely lovely gift, but too cliche imo.
