My boss is retiring and his retirement party is in a couple of weeks. I've been rattling my brain trying to decide what to buy him and I can't decide.This is my very first "professional" job within the field that I went to college for. This is the very same person who interviewed me, offered me the position, and opened gates for me to gradually move up through the ranks and be making pretty decent money now. Basically, I owe him a lot, but I also don't want to get him some generic gift.We work in the journalism (newspaper) field, specifically the page designing department.He likes rabbits a lot (he has 3 of his own, every email he ever sends has a rabbit photo or rabbit meme attached to the bottom) and is moving to New York post retirement to live with his now-fiance.
