My partner/boyfriend is turning 40 in a couple of weeks. We’ve just had our first baby so if we hadn’t had her I probably would have taken him on a weekend away somewhere in Europe (UK based). I still want to do something special but lack of sleep and sleeping in different bedrooms means I don’t want to go away anywhere at the moment, even somewhere local!So far I’ve got him: - Hand drawn pet portrait of our dog - Tickets for Book of Mormon early 2020 (If I can think of another gift now I’m planning on giving these to him at Christmas instead) - we will go to dinner at a Michelin star restaurant on his birthdayI feel like I want something a bit bigger and memorable if anyone has any ideas? He likes food, gaming on PS4, photography, space, cycling, swimming, tv shows/films, walks, our dog and baby! He does like coffee so I was thinking about a nice coffee machine possibly. I would have liked to get him a nice men’s mulberry bag for work but they are just too expensive. I’m looking at spending maybe £200-300.
