I just finished paying off about $60,000 in student loans 3 years after graduating! I was lucky enough to be able to pay them very aggressively (paying $2000 almost every month) and my parents helped me out a lot by contributing $300 a month. I want to get them a really great gift to thank them (especially now that I have extra income). Any ideas? I am thinking something in the 100-300 dollar range? Was considering a weekend trip to the beach or a deep house cleaning service? Having a room in their house painted? Are services a good gift or would something tangible be better? Like a Roomba? Restaurant gift card? They are not materialistic people, and I know that if I asked them if they wanted something they would tell me not to spend my money on them. But I really want to thank them. All ideas welcome :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/c9j9ng/thank_you_gift_ideas_for_parents_who_helped_pay/?utm_source=ifttt
