Hello folks,Recently, I received a tip from a church office employee regarding a business opportunity. She knows I am working in this field and she basically referred a business to me. Typically, if someone refers a business to me, I will pay a referral fee when I finished the job. However, I did not make any financial arrangement with her like I will pay her referral fee. The reason is I was not expecting she can refer a business to me. I was introduced to her because I attended that church when I was in that city (I do not live at that city anymore). I do not even know how on earth she can remember me when someone mention to her about issues in my field. Here is the deal: I feel like it is a little unethical make a payment to this person directly. Of course, a call is not enough. What should I gift to this lady in this situation? A big box of chocolate worth like $50 from Costco or simply a $50 WalMart gift card. The recipient will be a lady in her late 40s or 50s.Thanks,LAMG1 via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/d4iy30/how_should_i_gift_a_church_office_employee/?utm_source=ifttt
