I'm in a friends with benefits relationship, so things are very casual, however I'd like to take it to the next level and I'm pretty sure he feels the same way. So it does feel like things are moving in that direction- but we haven't had that talk yet and we're still just having fun. (I'm 29F, he 42M)Anyways. Lately he seems a little down and homesick (he's from a different country). Recently I was at an international market shopping around and I found a candle, and the name of the scent was the name of his home country. So I picked it up and planned to give it to him, hoping it would brighten his day and remind him of home. He always has a candle lit on his table when I go over, and I figured it's something he would actually use.But then I started wondering if this is weird? Guys, how would you feel about receiving a small gift like this from a girl you're in a casual relationship with? Is it too much? Or would it make you feel special, would you like it?
