#gifts - #Gift ideas throughout my relationship

Hey everyone!I am in a longtime relationship and throughout the years, many gifts have been given. Some have been useful, some were really thoughtful. So for your inspiration, I thought I would list some things! (I am not a native english speaker, so forgive me my mistakes! :) )we both like to listen to hardstyle, so festival- and eventtickets were on the list several timeson said festivals, we commonly get wristbands. So my bf collected them and with some pictures and printed out festival logos, he created a "wall of harddance", a big picture frame with all the memories in ithe planned a visit to a nearby and very beautiful farm, that I remember from childhooddays with my family, and we had breakfast in their restaurantWhen I was still in school, we had an art project where we would sculpture with gesso (I think?). And as I had so much fun with that and I call him a Pandabear (I know, corny :P) all the time, I've sculptured him a panda at home. It wasn't expensive with my parents' tools, but much time went into that. Nowadays he uses it as a stand for his gaming headset, so it is even quite useful haha.He also gifted me a jar full of date ideas. So every now and then, we take out a nice folded snipped, which is marked with a sun or a cloud for indoor or outdoor activities, and have a lovely trip!As we moved in together, we also had to learn cooking. My first present from there was a nice leather book, in which he had written down our best yet cooked recipes. Now it only has to be continued, as it still has some empty pages.printed t-shirts and sweatpants (hardstyle, snoopy, panda, or others)I painted a festival logo on a mugAlso painted him three small hardstyle themed canvasas to decor his room, as he still lived with his parents (it is know displayed in our flat as well though :) )a `why not zoidberg´ printed idividually on a pillow, as futurama is his favorite tv show (This was in rage comic times though)a hardstyle themed jigsaw puzzle. You can order jigsaw puzzles with own designs online. We are not too much in watching sports, but we like to try out new things. So he got tickets for motorsports, a horse race and an icehockey game yet, and had really fun watching! One christmas I visited my aunt who lives in another country, so we didn´t spend it together. He gave his present to my mum, who came with me, so she could surprise me with it. It was an adult coloring book and some good crayons, which I love to use.Once on our anniversary, I planned an entire date, what included going to a big public swimming pool, getting some good food and in the end watching a horror movie at home (I don't do that usually!). throughout the day he never knew what we were going to do next, so it was fun surprising him.As I was going on a 3 week long holiday trip with a friend, he called me just before my flight and told me to look at the music on my phone. He surprised me with records of him playing piano, that he has sectretly put on my phone. I listened to it very often on my trip :)One of the festivaltickets was hidden as a puzzle. The online ticket was in a link, which he printed out as a big QR code and cut into pieces, so that I had to solve the puzzle first.I also made him two collages with our photos and he made me two photo booksa beautiful necklaceWe are cooking food freshly and ourselves, so as we started with that, I got him a nice lunch box, so he could also take the food to workA cozy blanketHe loves trees, so on his last birthday, he has got a little bonsai tree with some small toolsTickets for Concerts and ComediansAs he couldn't inline skate as we met, I got him equipment and teached him a bitonce he outdid himself and surprised me with an entire holiday, since I couldn't afford to spend money for that that year.a little roboter, which actually is a usb hubI really like to read, so he also got me a nice booka Quad tourhe is a programmer, so he once made me a little programm, which would say "click here", and after clicking, "I love you" :)I also got a BIIIIIG Snoopy comic bookHe loves waffles, so I gifted him a 2-in-1 Waffle and sandwhich makeron my first birthday that I spent with him, he got me a little stuffed animal as a key chain, that I still use todayOf course, in between festivities we would also make each other little gifts, like cookies, flowers, balloons when we are out, sweets from the bakery...He knows that I like a certain brand of shoes, so he planned a date in the next bigger city and we went to the store, so that I could just pick out a pairI have spent a semester abroad. Sadly, we already knew, that he couldn´t afford to visit me. So just before the flight, he gave me a frame with a picture from us. Sweet, right? On my birthday, which I spent abroad, he told me on a video call to open the frame and look behind the picture. There was a tiny key hidden, but I didn't knew what it was for. He only told me to keep an eye on it. So I did. My parents visit me over easter. Guess who surprised me and came with them :) And with him, he took a litte treasure chest. I had to open it with the key and in it was a beautiful ring. It was so lovely and will stay in my memories forever!I´ve probably missed some gifts, but I really hope this might give you some ideas for your loved ones!Merry Gifting! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/dyhpbh/gift_ideas_throughout_my_relationship/?utm_source=ifttt
