My dad is the helper–always doing things for others. He always says he doesn’t want or need anything.Background: I’d like to get him one nice thing, but nothing too expensive (I’m still a grad student). So a couple hundred could work, but anything bordering over $500 USD will be an issue. He has a suburban, which he loves. Maybe a top of the line car accessory?He is a workaholic, so he doesn’t have much free time for reading, etc. I don’t want to get him a gift that requires any “work” (like a journal to fill out/a craft/anything that needs to be put together). He’s not a fan of massages. He has Netflix/Hulu already. He doesn’t BBQ for fun, he doesn’t like ties/clothes/shoes he doesn’t pick out, and while he does golf on occasion, it’s more for work or networking.
