I’m not sure if you guys will be able to answer my question but I’ll explain why I’m asking. My boyfriend’s birthday is coming up in August and I’m thinking about what gifts to get him. He has specifically said he wants a 1TB PS4. But, he is also very interested in blacksmithing and metalworking and has always wanted to try it. My city has a metal museum that offers classes and I thought that would be a great experience to get for him, and it’s something he’d never get for himself. The package I want to get him is a 2-day beginner blacksmithing workshop. Last year he took me out of town to see my favorite band and I’ll cherish that experience forever, so I wanted to return the favor. For his birthday last year (our birthdays are 3 days apart) I got him a 50” 4K TV. He loves it and uses it everyday, but this year I wanted to get him an experience.Cost-wise, the PS4 and the workshop are about the same price. Due to COVID-19 I may be forced to do the PS4, but I don’t know for sure what will happen in 3 months. So my question: would you rather have a hobby/experience as a gift or something tangible? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/g9t074/would_you_rather_have_a_cool_experience_or_a/?utm_source=ifttt
