#gifts - #What to do for Mother's Day

I will preface this saying that I am a very indecisive person. Upcoming Sunday, it's Mother's Day in my country. My mom has had a really really rough year so far. She is overworked and stressed from all kinds of family issues colliding together whilst she also tries her best to keep the household running. At the start of the year, I had this idea to take her to a high tea on Mother's Day to show some appreciation at one of our favourite restaurants. Now due to Corona, obviously we cannot visit a restaurant. However, I still want to give her a nice big brunch/lunch. I wonder what you, maybe mother's, would appreciate most. So 2 of our "usual" restaurants offer high teas. One is a more wholesome set whilst the other is a bit fancier (but also has dishes she's already tried before and loves). The first restaurant offers home-y style high tea sweet and savory foods. The second restaurant offers a bit fancier style food. My mom already knows these dishes but also really loves them. (new food vs delicious familiarity) Now there is also a third option in which I try to make some high tea food, but I am not sure if I can do it in time/do it well/can decide on ingredients etc.So my question, what would you prefer?Home-y High TeaFancy High TeaHomemade High Tea via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/gf2u9w/what_to_do_for_mothers_day/?utm_source=ifttt
