Hi all! I(F) want to virtually propose to my boyfriend (of almost 5 years). We are currently in a long distance relationship and the lockdown restrictions make it seem like we won't be able to meet for another couple of months. We have spoken about getting married and have kinda agreed upon a tentative wedding in next 6-8 months, when things get better. So, it's more like a gesture instead of a question, because I do want to make sure this step doesn't get missed somehow eventually. To be honest I was expecting the "act of proposal" (because at this time, only the act is due) to be coming from him, but due to Coronavirus and lockdown it doesn't seem it will be happen. Also, I am.tired of waiting :D I am aware that he takes a lot of pressure about such things to make it look perfect and grand, and so it's possible that that pressure was kinda scaring him and making him delay it further. So I want to take the lead and surprise him.I am looking for suggestions on how to propose a guy. I don't want to go for a ring because I'd want to do something like that in person at a later stage in our friends and parents' presence, but meanwhile I do want to "propose". What else can be gifted to a guy which symbolises love? (Customized Wallets, keychains, photo frames are old news, are they?)He's also a huge Chelsea fan, so I don't mind mixing things up a bit into this either.A few ideas that I picked from internet were -Pizza on a date night asking "Will you marry me?" while I am on video call with himWriting/singing a song to propose.Flowers/cards I am not sure if these will really work.So. I want something to 'carry the question' and basically 'involves a gift' for him. Pleeeeeeaaaaaaaase suggest! I need your creative help in making it a success. He's going to be so happy and surprised to see me popping this up and taking the pressure off him. I can't wait to see his face when this happens! :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hggwwo/wedding_proposal_gift_suggestion_for_my/?utm_source=ifttt
