#gifts - #I (24M) wanted to gift something special to a social worker (30~35F) who has helped me tremendously during the last two years but I have no idea what would be appropiate.

Hi everyone, I want to gift her something to show her how thankfull I am for everything she has done for me in these last two years. She has helped me with getting help for my depression, has been there when I needed to talk and now, helped me tremendously in getting ready to move out of a very disfunctional house (BPD, depressed, hoarder mother).I have no words and can't even begin to imagine how to thank her for everything she has done for me.I want to gift her something, but I worry what would be appropiate and what not. Someone has told me to write her a letter expressing how thankful I am for helping me, I thought about a coffe gift card, or a coffe mug or maybe chocolate, because who doesn't like chocolate. Thing is, I don't want to make it uncomfortable by giving a gift that a romantic partner would gift her, just something special as way to say thank you.I would appreciate any ideas or advice on what to do. And a very special thank you to all social workers there reading this post. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/hvgjsu/i_24m_wanted_to_gift_something_special_to_a/?utm_source=ifttt
