#gifts - #GIFT FOR 28M PARTNER OF 2 YEARS

Need help thinking of a good gift for my bf.It's not for a special occasion or calendar event, just as a treat and to show some appreciation.Budget - we're a pretty thrifty couple and like making things so anything flashy or overly boujee probably wouldn't suit, and he wouldn't be offended by anything that's inexpensive. That said, I don't mind spending a few hundred for the right thing ($AUD) - he is definitely into quality over mass produced items.About himHe's a bit of an old soul with very conventionally masculine interests and qualities but is very socially progressive and can also be kind of eccentric.interests include surfing, mountain biking, road biking, camping, DIY and home improvement (he has a huge shed full of tools and equipment), gardening, vinyl, reading (old classics and sci-fi/horror), music (plays bass and guitar), casual fitness (not a gym guy but has an interest in fitness and health), memes, travelling, cooking, nature, I'm kind of getting him into astrology and yoga.White collar profession, currently WFH. Has an ok set up but would be open to small desktop extras.Bonus points for something ethically sourced / eco-friendly or that gives back / is purpose-led etc.Things I'm considering and need recommendations for:Grooming (a good shaver for face and also full head shaves as he does this occassionally, has super thick hair)"extras" for bikingA mechanical keyboard with the more quiet key caps"extras" for car - owns a nice 4WD/SUVExercise shoes (doesn't own any)Workwear / accessoriesCologneGadgetsAn experience/subscription (non-physical item)Something related to birdwatching/foraging (not binoculars)An adjustable guitar strapSomething homemade/DIY - I can already sew/cook/paint and make little figurines from clay (I would probably buy something in addition to this but any ideas welcome).Something art related perhaps a print but nothing bigger in case we moveI would probably rule out the following:AlcoholBooks (already buy him this)JewellerySkincare (already buy him this)Socks/underwearToolsAnything big as we might be moving soon (either interstate or overseas)Trying to avoid anything that's a shared or household item (we live together so I don't want to be selfish with my gift giving lol)Thanks so much!!! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/i6vxu6/gift_for_28m_partner_of_2_years/?utm_source=ifttt
