My 83 yr old grandmother has recently moved into a care facility this past year and she is missing her home and feeling lonely because of COVID. I lived with her for 7 years before she moved and had a lot of trouble finding out what she liked and what made her happy. The happiest I've ever seen her was whenever she was listening to oldies music. I am hating myself for not writing down what specific songs she liked, but I know she liked old "crooner" type songs. She was born in 1937 and doesn't care much for the rock and roll stuff that started around that time. I think she likes stuff like Frank Sinatra.I've got a giant stack of 4.7gb DVD+R CD's that I would love to load with all the music that I can to send to her. I know that she would just absolutely love it. Does anyone have any suggestions of musicians/songs/playlists/specific songs/one-hit-wonders...just anything, that she would possible like?
