#gifts - #Need ideas for LATE Mother's day.

First off, let me be the first to say that it's shameful how late this is.Me and my wife had our first kid earlier this year, between covid and work related issues I've been overwhelmed and haven't had the time to figure out the right gift.Better late than never tho.Ever since giving birth my wife has expressed that she feels sidelined and that she's not important anymore (not because of me in particular, but due to several factors).I'd like my gift to say "I recognize your effort in being a good mother and I care about you". Something that makes her feel pretty and valued as a person.I thought about a small necklace with our kid's birthstone but could not find anything that really clicked.I also thought about a customized mug or customized lego minifigs (we both love legos) but I dropped it because it was kinda underwhelming. For father's day she got me a nice book and another book that I could read to our kid. I don't want to get her the exact same thing, but it's just to add a bit of context. She's not a sporty person, she does a bit of yoga tho. She already has the little tools useful for the practice tho.Lately she has been waking up very early to take care of a few things before going to work, so maybe something that she could use when she wakes up and starts her day? Thanks a lot. via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/iumqf5/need_ideas_for_late_mothers_day/?utm_source=ifttt
