Every birthday and Christmas is stressful as hell, because I never know what to get the adults in my life. Everyone has the money to buy their own stuff. I end up overthinking and talking myself out of gifts because "what if they have it already" or "what if they don't like it."For example, my brother loves video games and computers. But he buys every video game he wants when it comes out, and all the tech stuff he wants is super expensive. Sure, I could get him a Steam gift card, but that's too impersonal.Similarly, my sister-in-law loves clothes, purses, makeup, etc from expensive brands. She already has a ton and I wouldn't even know what to pick, or if I'd even be able to afford something she likes.
