#gifts - #Gift for a new American

My very good British friend just found out that his mom was adopted as a baby. Her birth mom had her with an American pilot passing through to mainland Europe at the end of WWII. After the war she was forced to give her up when her husband returned home from fighting after the war ended. This comes as a shock but he's in good spirits about it. He's the kind of guy who constantly teases me about being American. With this new earth shattering information, I would like to welcome him home with a gag gift or two. Is there something quintessential American that comes to mind other than the obvious like the American flag? via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/j8wlsb/gift_for_a_new_american/?utm_source=ifttt
