So, I’m trying to think of gifts I can get my kids this year that will grow with them and last a long time. I dont like cheap plastic crap, or anything plastered with Disney/Pixar whatever theme as fads come and go quick for kids. I try my best to keep our house minimalistic and simple. So far all I can think of is a big box of Lego, was thinking as a shared present for my 4 and 6 year old. But struggling to think of gifts that will last a long time and grow with them? Does anyone have any suggestions? I plan to take the toys back to Australia when we move back mid next year. I like to try and buy sustainable/handmade and such as well...although I know Lego doesn’t fit this. Im only looking for 2-3 items each.Backstory: We are an Australian family that live in Tokyo, We have no yard, we do plenty of experiences, this year we are going to experience a white Christmas! Something I have wanted all my life as well. We came over in January and really didn’t bring much and havent bought too much since then. My son is 4 and daughter 6.Thanks for any advice or suggestions :) via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/jmj52x/christmas_gifts_for_small_children/?utm_source=ifttt
