Both my parents are in another country (US) and we haven't seen each other for about 2 years. They were suppose to visit this year but covid happened. Now that restrictions are less strict I plan to start Christmas shopping early so I can send it to them just in time for Christmas. My dad is a pretty chill guy which means it harder to buy gifts for. He has no specific hobbies like fishing or hiking (does play poker occasionally w/ buddies) but other than that he's pretty uncomplicated.
