#gifts - #Need help with artistic vision to bring my father’s Christmas gift to life!

Hello all!Last christmas I found myself at a loss for what to get for my father, who is probably my best friend in the world. Maybe thats lame, maybe its cute - but we’re like two peas in a pod. When we hang out, my dads wife and my wife just sit next to each other and shake their heads. But I digress. Last christmas, I realized what I wanted to get for my dad, but it was too close to the holiday to actually get it made, so I’ve collected idea elements over the last year and I need some help on how to present it.One of the biggest ‘things’ my dad and I have is that we have a HUGE library of one-liners, movie and tv references, inside-jokes, and so on, that we like to say when the moment is right. We have so many, that I’ve kept a notepad in my phone over the last year - and anytime I think of one that isn’t already on the list, I write it down.I think it would make him SO happy if I were to take all of those references and somehow get them written out and framed really nicely, so that he could hang it and see all of our awesome inside jokes every day. But here is where I run into the dilemma: We still come up with new inside jokes and references to this day!So in my mind, I have some sheet that is framed and hung. It looks like it’s ‘finished’ when I give it to him, yet somehow there needs to be ‘room’ to add more jokes and such as the years go on. But if I have a sheet of paper with a bunch of empty lines on it, it looks like an incomplete gift. And speaking of ‘sheet of paper’, how should I even format the thing??I need creative, artistic help from you guys to create a gift that I KNOW will fill my dad with joy and which I have been collecting ‘data’ on for over a year.I can’t wait to hear some great ideas, cuz I need you! via /r/Gifts https://www.reddit.com/r/Gifts/comments/jnz23t/need_help_with_artistic_vision_to_bring_my/?utm_source=ifttt
