He’s very difficult to talk to. 2019 has been tough. Unfortunately, that’s just a continuation of the last 5 years or so of tough for my family.We’re in the final stages of saying goodbye to my grandmother who has been struggling with cancer for some time.My uncle has a heart of gold but hasn’t always made the right choices, because of this, he’s been a bit shunned by some members of the family. He’s not happy if the things he’s done, but he does his best to be there for those in need. He has been AMAZING. LITERALLY. AMAZING. For my grandmother.He’s been her basically 24/7 care, so patient, loving, and keeping up to her standards on everything. Everyone is falling apart right now, including my uncle.. and he’s still focused on making everyone but himself as comfortable as possible.He used to be an avid camper, fisherman, handyman, tool guy.. car guy, toys guy (RC, random builds, random creations, etc). He’s lost that over the years.I know he’s going to lose more of himself when we lose my grandma, and I want to try to help him escape or find a way to find himself again.Do you know of any ... kits, or trips, or experiences (etc) that would fit for him? I thought about just paying for an all inclusive camping trip for him and his little family (where he can take them if wanted, but also give him the option to go solo)... I thought about a programming or building kit..
