I’d write 1 recipe on each card and categorize them by types of foods (appetizer, entree, dessert). The benefit to this is he can add recipes or remove them as he continues to learn and grow as a cook ... and he can also put new recipes in the appropriate place for organization and easy findingFor the book I would get a nicely bound notebook and write in all of the recipes in a similar style. It might be easier to travel with and not lose all of the recipes. My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I want to get him something that I think he'll carry around with him everywhere, small and useful. I've given him multi-tools, a small back pack for carrying small items with him and a small rolling tray in the past. He loves anything cannabis related. He likes checkered items and he loves to keep his stuff clean (car, clothes, belongings). So, so far I've gotten him a small taster book for different strains off Amazon but I am not sure what else.
