A majority of couples get a housewarming after they get settled in their home, which is recently after they get married. So... how would that work? The wedding already has so many guests and you’d already get so many gifts. I hate the idea in the first place because I like to actually shop, decide, change my mind, etc. Not make up my mind in the spot on some registry list when I’ve never seen the actual gifts in person so that they buy it for me. My 83 yr old grandmother has recently moved into a care facility this past year and she is missing her home and feeling lonely because of COVID. I lived with her for 7 years before she moved and had a lot of trouble finding out what she liked and what made her happy.
