So basically it’s Valentine’s Day and I bought a few small things to my husband: different chocolates, crisps and socks. I know it’s not something big or special, but it’s not like a birthday anyway. I gave him the gift at midnight and was waiting for his reaction which was very upsetting. He opened the bag and asked me is that all i bought? Is this what u call a gift, a few chocolates and socks? This is the stupidest gift and why am i so jewy, i cud have bought a shirt or booked a holiday. He said he bought something for me. He gave me a parfume and body wash with the price tag on it, and told me how much it was(25£) and he bet i feel bad now. And then he started to mention all the gifts i ever bought that i always buy stupid things, mentioned the priced of my gifts that i never spend money on him( i hav enought shirts, ps games, jacket) and he never really liked any of mine gifts. I know i hve never bought as expensive things as him but It doesnt mean I don’t love him enough to spend money on him. If i was richer i would buy anything he wants, i wud take him anywhere, and I really wish i cud. I feel hurt and i told him thats its not nice to criticise someone’s gift but he thinks its allright and i went over the top by being really upset about it. Does anyone think he is right and i shudnt be sad about this? It’s insane.So what can you do to ensure it all goes well?Let’s say you live in Phoenix, but your loved one is in Seattle.Instead of 3rd party, research florists in their area and look at reviews. Call them directly, earlier the better, and ask them these three things:Do they deliver to your recipients area, and what is the delivery fee?Explain sort of what it is you’d like, basket arrangement, vase, bouquet, size and fill, and the price range they’d offer for such an arrangement. It can troublesome to say, “I need a bouquet as big as a house but I have $20.” Be mindful of their budgets and limitations and keep an open mind.Ask what kind of flowers are in stock and for recommendations. If you have floral preferences, let them know.
