My boyfriend (27M) and I (25F) started dating earlier this summer. After dating for 1.5 months, he gave me a birthday card and offered to travel to one of my bucket list destinations (a nearby European country). I didn’t expect a present at all, so you can imagine how amazed I was.We’re now backpacking around for the next ten weeks. As an experienced traveller I’m acting as a guide for him and his best friend (it’s their first time in South East Asia). We’ll be in Vietnam during his birthday.My problem is that I don’t know how to even begin reciprocating for his birthday. We both value experiencing things together, but we’ll already be on the road. Huge presents would be impractical since he has no luggage space.His interests include philosophy, stoicism, UFC, and he enjoys having an adrenaline rush. He easily dropped $500 on my birthday, but the most I can afford is $100 for his.
